Imagine crafts/Irresistible texture spray

hmm, ok the Irresistible spray comes in many colors, i worked with only one. Little difficulty adhering things to the spray once down, but can be wiped to a waxy finish. I like the texture shiny effect. Definitely need a mat under to wipe up a little rubbing alcohol will help with wipe up.

So the moral is when using think about what is going on top of your project. How are you going to place it.

Nice product will go on anything and the effect is more noticeable if you spray closer the thickness shows up. Adding more colors will blend in.

One more note, it doesn't clog, you have to keep the bottle up right and put lid on fairly soon after using.
I went back to it the next day with no clogging issue! hooray! that's what i like!

I believe i will definitely carry more. Of course play more too!

Monday Monday slow down..... but fun with Golden products.

Golden gel mediums/ it has been an experiment. I have worked with mediums long, long time ago but just decided to try them out again.

The heavy gel you can mix pigments and such to them and stick things into them, but have to kind of work fast with out any extra mix to them to thin or they will dry them.  I even put a dab on a sheet of cardstock and work with mixing or plastic cap. Dont get going to fast and take to much out or it will dry on you very quickly. Then it is basically waste.

So i even like to use my dirty painted napkins so it all is fun and great to use as fillers if you need to balance out some colors. After a clean up i throw all those in a box and then just pull out one to tear to add to a project.

The gel is great for dimension and adding parts to things, i really like to use on canvas but works ok on paper just little heavy in weight.

Rub ons

I found rub ons help with filling in a space.  Or hiding a spot.
A customer told me once ...oh look what I learned! Instead of taking out of plastic cut it out through the package. Duh! What a great idea then you are not fighting to get it back in.

Now though, the package has two sheets in one or multi color sheets. I love the Tim holtz packages no wasted space. But then you cannot cut around you do need to take out of sleeve or you will find a little boo boo. (

The black stands out more, my fave but very nice that they make some brown n white among ither colors.

The little remains I tend to file back in the sleeves n place all the open packages upright or in a sealed container. Why? So they dont dry out or loose them on floor or worst yet stuck to another project. Done that before and that was not a la la.

kraft paper of any kind

Nice thing about kraft paper of any kind. Mediums of various sorts help decorate and create a great gift bag.
I am loving these small kraft bags you can add a cookie or a large tag n card.

When using stamps tge clear polymer ones are nice to manipulate to fill an area.
The words are from dylusions stamp line and the other leaves n floral are from hero arts.

For small words I prefer versa fine ink for a clear define image. Use with small detail stamps unmiunted or wood mounted.
