2017 can you believe it?
With business of any kind its the time when you take a look at your business and look for improvement.
Clearing your work area, figure out how to improve area and sales. Just finding your desk and clearing out to get new products is a challenge. At the same time its like Christmas finding things you forgot about or maybe didn't finish. believe me we all have them!
I have been adding more kits to Artgirlies FB as well as pulling down the website, i know! not again but i am just reevaluating what i want to change and do for the coming year. So stay tuned.
Making a commitment to add more photos and document the up coming changes.

Still here....Small Business Woes.
As some of you know i started a small business in 2000. We were in a situation with my husbands health and newly born sons health, it was a struggle to go to work and stay awake. With all the health issues we decided before i get fired from my job, may be we could start a business and survive on our 401k and savings. Needless to say our business took off grew way to fast at first. I took business classes to help with understanding the money issues. I can honestly tell you ha! it didnt help.
We stayed at one location for 3 years and then move to a larger location. The 2nd location was large to hold classes but location ended up not being great at night. We then moved to another location much better but small.
Under all this between medical bills, and living expenses growing as well as business we took a major hit, ups and downs from 9/11 survival, moves and the regular competition. Not to mention a major tax error from our CPA that really just did me in. She has passed and i was stuck with finding a new one and trying to start all over in trying to see the light.
As much as i loved my clients, classes and location, i found the year i finally decided to just give up and call it good., 4 other close business friends went out of business too with similar struggles.
A small business that is not a necessity has to have another way to survive.
I see these food trucks and realize the overhead on other businesses have the right idea. Unfortunately you really need to think it over and have major capital.
A customer has no real idea what goes on and the struggles some may go through.
I have since tried in home classes, selling ebay, website, etsy and consignment store.
Donated a lot of product i know i cant sell without explaining how to use or magazines and such to the art world.
I will all best of luck on their ventures, reasons why you might open a business, capital , help and product.

Excited?
I am excited about some possible information. I want to explode and show some pics but i have to be on hold first till the news comes out.

Gelatos
Gelatos, i am seeing more of these. I have worked with lyra pencils and pastels but these seem to be the new craze.
I decided to order and see what i think.
The one crazy thing is if i don't like a product its hard for me to promote. Most may not care and just get the latest craze but personally i cant and don't feel comfortable doing that.
so we will see i am ready to play with them!
Oh speaking of which i also ordered the Color Lab products i think they may be similar to Lumin ARTes but i will again have to wait and see how that works out.

business - Ha! its been while!
Life happens. ...
but creations continue.
Technology can be a good thing but also very stressful. Systems go down and then you loose some items you have to search for.
I often wonder about these people whom blog everyday they must have a timer reminder or nothing much else to do. Cause it is hard for me to remember updates and all the other items i have to have plugged in.
between kindles, iPods, cell phones it gets crazy not to mention the regular house hold chores.
Been working on updates for ebay, etsy as well as website.
As an entrepreneur you all most have to think all the time on how to even sell or get your products out there.
Thats what i do in my sleep or trying to sleep i think of something i want to check or remember i want to try and then have to make notes and hope to get to it the next day which ends up a couple days later.
p.s. i love these products or sites whom say its free and easy.. one not easy, 2. not free until you hit that button and they advise how much pricing is. Then you start all over after all the photo and info downloads.
